Earning online is really simple but being successful at it isn't so. There are various characteristics one must possess in order to achieve maximal earning online. Online income opportunities aren't entirely different to owning a company, investing in share or even working for a company itself. In the simplest terms, there really isn't much of a difference.
Have you ever tried selling chocolates in your neighborhood?
Selling chocolates is no different to earning online. To successfully sell your quota of chocolates, you must consider the audience, their opinions, the advertisement, and your available time. I would like to discuss these four(4) criteria in terms of earning online.
THE AUDIENCE:
The audience is always the basic part of earning. With zero(0) audience, there is zero(0) earnings.
One must always consider their audience. The possibilities are vast considering that you are currently in a world with no travelling restrictions. Your audience could either be from Europe, Asia, North America, etc. In better terms, the entire world. Thus, it is important to know that the more knowledge you possess about a certain audience, the higher the possibility of you pleasing/satisfying them.
Suppose you are given a group of people from America who likes candy bars, what is the best way of encouraging them to attend a birthday party? One way is to ensure that you have sufficient supply of candy bars during your birthday party. This will guarantee a 100% attendance of all the guests considering that there is no sudden change in their preferences. We can state that this is an ideal situation for both you and your guests.
But then, let us suppose that you are given a group of people from Europe, what is the best way to encourage them to attend the same party? Without the knowledge of their preferences, you simply end up guessing as to how ensure that the second(2nd) group enjoys the party as much as the first(1st) group does.
And then, what if there is that sudden change of preference?
This is where you come up with initial plans. As we all know, providing everything is the best course of action to this situation. Everyone will be satisfied since you have given everything. But in my opinion, this is the worst possible solution as it leaves you completely empty-handed in the end. Not only is it a tedious job; but also an expensive one at that.
So that leaves us with the question, what is the best possible course of action?
Step #1: Do your RESEARCH:
This is the one of the most important step of all. If you don't know their preferences, then simply ask. Knowing what to provide can not only guarantee their satisfaction but also lessen the possibilities of loss. In a party, you spend money for the enjoyment of your guest. Having someone who is completely bored is considered a loss. Thus, it is best to know what you are dealing with. It is the number one step into achieving your goal.
Step #2: EXTEND your horizons
Research, despite being the number one step, is not a guarantee. Thus, one must be able to extend his/her horizons. Assuming we go through a similar situation of organizing a party, having been able to do your research, you assume that it will become the best party ever but the problem is that it is NOT. The possibilities of that the data collected from your research is only a guarantee for the minimal satisfaction of the guests. Extending your horizons mean that you will be adding a little bit of bonus in satisfying your guests. Despite not having been able to get a data of someone who wants music, adding a large stereo would more or less liven up the party. This is will be a sure hit to people who loves to dance.
In our case of earning online, this will mean you can either add a little more effort that the ordinary advertising. One example is writing a blog of your favorite online program. And then, joining a traffic exchange to advertise your blog. Extending your horizons has the ability to widen the possibilities of enticing users to join under your problem. It is also best to note that there are various ways to extend your horizons. But never forget that there should always be a limit or a budget when doing so. Otherwise, you'll be left in a debt.
Step #3: INTERACT
Unlike the two(2) previous steps, this step will ensure results. As we all know, we, human beings, enjoy interacting with one another. Whether be it face-to-face or through the cyberspace, we can never deny that we enjoy the feeling of interaction.
This step, however, is solely based on our methods on how we interact with one another. In this case, I will further explain this in the next parts of this series.
Step #4: Note the results
Whether it may have been a good or a bad result, ALWAYS take notes. References will prevent you from making the same mistake and enables you to further improve the good ones. You should never belittle the power of taking notes. References/evidences prove to be one of the methods of improving something.
One example is my method of recycling referrals in PTC sites. Before I tend to recycle every referral with more than 4 days of inactivity which costed me a lot of expenses. Upon realizing my mistake, I began to take notice of different factors and furthered my research. Thus, I am currently able to lessen recycling expenses while maximizing my earnings of my PTC sites.
It is ok to think that your audience is also your source of income. The more audience you have, the bigger the possibilities of earning. Although it may be difficult to please every single person, you can always start small. As you accomplish those small goals, you move to higher and bigger goals. And maybe soon enough, you'll be able to satisfy the entire world.
